He didn’t learn grammar…That’s the best part
And hopefully he'll never have to (for the most part), since he's able to learn it like a native speaker due to his young age.

Thank you, that was so helpful _/\_
About the subtitle thing: As an autonomously studying Korean beginner, I usually watch Korean shows and movies with English subtitles... Pausing and rewinding a lot, repeating what they say, and all together not paying too much attention to the subtitle, if I can help it. AND, after some time I will always watch the show a second or even a 3rd time (if i like the show a lot) without the subtitles. I learned this helps me a lot in learning to better "instinctively" understand the language. Also, I always pause the shows a lot while watching and consult dictionaries and grammar books and have a pen and a paper notebook writing down vocabulary, and also trying to spell words and sentences correctly just from hearing them... So, I'd say, English subtitles are not all together bad, IF one watches a Korean show with a very active studying attitude. .. fun fact: I'm studying Korean via English, which is already not my native Language, because there is more Korean studying material for English speakers. This also helped strengthening my English skills. Also I have a feeling that I'm differently susceptive to the Korean language in movies even when I'm watching with English subtitles.. Maybe the brain processes it differently because of being in a sort of "foreign language mode" already?
How much was it too travel to south Korea

You know, that we're watching you only because of Jeremy, right? 😊
Jeremy is such a cute and joyful kid ! Billy is such a great dad to Billy! there bond is amazing love it😊🤍 !
But I don’t get any of it. Is it just kha and that’s why the tissue moves? Because of the h? And is it just a ga cuz it sounds like it but you make it so complicated I’m sorry I don’t get it
It's best to not think of it like English or any other language, because Korean sounds don't exist in English or many other languages. It's best to just listen to what it sounds like and to do your best to say it that way. Korean can't be accurately written with English.
@@GoBillyKorean thanks but it’s still super complicated. Regardless I’ll still watch ur vids and try figuring it out

안녕하세요. 저는 소민 입니다. 내가 한국어 조금밖에 못해요.
Im finding it hard to grasp the difference between 그렇게 and 그런 forms , they both seem like adjectives to me that can be placed before nouns, how do they function differently?
그렇게 is an adverb so it's not describing a noun.
Yeah he is connected to his fans 😅 that's why he deleted his Instagram after knowing what his fans are doing 😂
How will the two Koreas ever unite, when a phrase as innocuous as "I'm okay," is enough to start a fight?
thx you !
For brand new learners overwhelmed by Batchim - I find myself coming back to Lesson #9 as I learn more words and what Billy said is right! A lot of this starts to feel natural over time and you DO get the hang of it! Don't overthink it and just keep this video in your pocket to return to as you go! You'll surprise yourself. :)
I started learning Korean last May 8, and I can understand about 20% when watching K Drama, it was totally zero before. I am trying to learn to speak the language comfortably, if not fluently. I can speak 9 languages and dialects, so Korean would be my 10th. My native language is Cantonese, I also speak Mandarin, Fukkien, Malay, Indonesian, Japanese, Vietnamese, English, and Tagalog. I love learning languages, maybe that was the reason why I was able to learn those languages fast, I hope I can do the same with Korean. I study 2 hours every day, usually at night after a long day at work. Thanks, Billy, for the wonderful video.
